Refund Policy

At Learn and Work Academy, we strive to provide an exceptional educational experience. We understand that sometimes plans change, and students may need to withdraw from a program or course. This policy outlines the procedures for refunds and cancellations.

  1. Withdrawal and Refund Eligibility
  • Cancellation within 24 hours: Students have the right to cancel their registration within 24 hours of enrollment without any fees. No costs will be charged, and all paid amounts will be refunded. The cancellation must be communicated in writing via email to the Admissions and Registration Department.
  • Cancellation after 24 hours:
    • After 24 hours, students may still cancel their registration, but application processing fees ($50) will be non-refundable. Any course assessment fees paid will be refunded, provided that the cancellation is submitted for approval to the Board of Directors and meets the refund criteria.
  1. Pro-rated Refunds

Refunds for students who cancel their enrollment after the initial 24-hour period may be provided on a pro-rata basis, depending on the duration of enrollment and the amount of coursework completed.

  • Early withdrawal: Students withdrawing shortly after the 24-hour period may receive a partial refund. The refund amount will be calculated based on the length of time enrolled and any services rendered up to the date of withdrawal.
  • No refund for completed courses: Once a student has completed a course or submitted a graduation project, no refunds will be given for that particular course or project.
  1. Non-Refundable Fees
  • Application fees: As mentioned, the application processing fee of $50 is non-refundable.
  • Specific administrative fees: Any additional administrative fees that have been paid will be non-refundable unless specifically mentioned otherwise.
  1. Refund Procedure
  • Students seeking refunds must submit a formal written request to the Admissions and Registration Department via email.
  • Refund requests will be processed within 30 days from the date of approval.
  • Refunds will be issued through the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
  1. Special Circumstances

Refund requests outside of the stated conditions may be considered in extenuating circumstances such as:

  • Medical emergencies, accompanied by official documentation.
  • Military deployment, with supporting evidence.

All such cases will be reviewed individually by the Board of Directors, and a final decision will be communicated to the student within 30 days.

  1. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from refund requests or the application of this policy will be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and adjudicated by an independent arbitration panel.
