These terms and conditions outline the expectations, rights, and obligations of students enrolling at Learn and Work Academy (LWA). By enrolling in any course or program, you agree to be bound by these terms.

  1. Enrollment Conditions
  • Eligibility: Admission to any program requires the submission of valid and complete registration documents. Incomplete or falsified documents may result in denial of admission or revocation of enrollment.
  • Program-specific Admission: Each program may have unique admission criteria as specified on the official website Learn and Work Academy Admissions.
  • Application and Enrollment Fees: A non-refundable $50 fee is required for processing the application.
  1. Academic Policies
  • Grading and Progress: Students must meet academic performance standards, including passing required courses and maintaining satisfactory progress in their program.
  • Ethics and Academic Integrity: All students are expected to adhere to ethical conduct and academic integrity. Acts of academic dishonesty may lead to disciplinary actions.
  • Withdrawal and Dropout: Students may withdraw from a course within 24 hours without penalty. After that, any withdrawals must be communicated formally, and course fees will not be refunded.
  1. Financial Responsibilities
  • Payment Terms: Tuition and fees must be paid on time through available payment methods (money transfer, bank transfer, credit card).
  • Installments: Students may divide their total study cost into installments, with a $50 non-refundable deposit required upon confirmation of enrollment.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds will only be considered for course assessment fees, excluding the application processing fee, and are subject to approval by the Academy Board.
  • Default: Failure to pay tuition may result in suspension or dismissal from the program.
  1. Student Responsibilities
  • Code of Conduct: Students are expected to behave in a manner that reflects positively on themselves and the Academy. Misconduct or violations of Academy rules may result in disciplinary action.
  • Course Attendance: Students must attend all virtual courses, complete required projects, and participate in assessments as per the curriculum plan.
  • Course Equivalency: Students seeking equivalence for previously completed courses must submit appropriate documentation for review.
  • Privacy and Data Protection
  • Confidentiality: The Academy will protect all student data and will not share it with third parties without the student’s consent, unless it is required for academic or administrative purposes.
  • Access to Information: Students may request access to their personal academic records or request amendments in case of errors.

  • Educational Support: The Academy is committed to providing quality educational services and continuous improvement of academic programs based on student feedback and developments in education.
  • Completion Requirements: Each program has specific requirements for completion, which may include assessments, projects, and a graduation project.
  1. Student’s Right to Cancel Registration
  • Cancellation within 24 Hours: Students have the right to cancel their registration within 24 hours without penalty.
  • Cancellation after 24 Hours: Cancellation after 24 hours requires formal notification to the Academy’s Admissions Department. The application processing fee is non-refundable, and a refund for other fees will be assessed based on the stage of course completion.
  1. Complaints and Disputes
  • Complaint Procedure: Complaints must be submitted formally via email to the Admissions Department. Complaints will be addressed promptly and fairly in accordance with Academy policies.
  • Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, the Academy will engage an independent arbitration panel. The laws of the United Kingdom will govern the resolution of disputes.
  1. Miscellaneous Provisions
  • Amendments: The Academy reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, with prior notice to students.
  • Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any legal action arising from these terms will be under the jurisdiction of UK courts.

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge that you have read and understood all policies set forth by Learn and Work Academy and agree to comply with them throughout your course of study.
